Bernhard Wünsch - Conductor and Pianist
Bernhard Wünsch was born in 1965 in Augsburg, Bavaria, and finished his studies in conducting at the Musikhochschule Munich. Already in this years he cunducted several orchestras in Germany such as the Munich Symphonic Orchestra. He also was in 1988-1990 Assistant of Horst Stein at the festivals of Bayreuth and Salzburg.
After his examination he was engaged at theatres in Bielefeld, Wiesbaden, Duisburg, Cologne and Stuttgart, followed by a lot of recordings for braodcast and CD in Germany.
Since 1995 Bernhard Wünsch is on stage in almost all european countries. He worked in Italy, Spain, France, Beligium, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Israel, United Kingdom, and in Puerto Rico and Mexico.
In Germany he has conducted at the most important concert halls as the Gasteig in Munich, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. He also has conducted onrenowned festivals outside of the world of classic, for example at the world´s biggest Metal Festival in Wacken, Germany, and most popular festivals in Leipzig and the Netherlands. Furthermore, he is experienced in conducting music for movies and musical theatre.
From 2012 Bernhard Wünsch started to work regulary and continousely with the Symphony Orchestra of the Belarus Radio & TV company.
As a pianist Bernhard Wünsch loves chamber music and - especially - to perform with singers in vocal recitals.
Eilka Krishar and Bernhard Wünsch are working together since 2011 and performed various repertoire in several concerts on a tour through Japan in 2012.
